  • In the heart of Catalonia, in the hinterland of the Costa Brava lies a world famous wine region : the Emporda. In a valley and a fairly dry landscape vineyards and olive trees rise gently at the foot of the Pyrenees.

In Figueres, where Dali was born and yhere you can admire its incredible museum, you leave the famous Ramblas, where walkers stroll leisurely in the shade of the trees. The route leads through little medieval villages, like Castellò Empúries and Peralada.

On the way you stop at wine cellars and admire flamingos, herons and other birds in the nature parcs you cross. This getaway also gives you the opportunity to visit the beautiful city of Girona.

    Day 1

From there you ride through a green and wild countryside passing by Garriguella, Vilamaniscle and Rabos with the most ancient groves.
