Topweek gehad: alles prima verzorgd.

    On the 2021-10-27 by LAURENT

    On the 2020-11-15 by Baptiste
Merci encore !

    Super souvenir.

    Fine Time in the Vines.

    On the 2020-08-04 by Paul
What a joy, From the tranquility of the canal, the cute villages, the sweeping vineyards, the great food and fine wines.Obernai is a gem and the Hotel Gouvernor is perfect. We cycled up to the castle at Haute Koonigsbourg, from where the vistas were stunning, but to visit the castle you need to book online the previous day ( we did not ). Ribeauville and Riquewir are truly beautiful with super cellars to visit and helpful tasting staff. Who would have thought it would have been so wonderful spending time in a fantastic place called Barr :). Thanks to LVV for running this trip - chapeau.

    Parfait!

    Loved Alsace wine region tour

On the 2019-11-03 by Philip Boddington
We loved our bike tour through the wine region of Alsace. The countryside is beautiful, the towns and villages charming and the cuisine and wine excellent. The cycling is generally flat and easy and very compatible with enjoying the local cuisine at lunch time. Our wine tour of Domain Dussourt was outstanding. The accommodation arranged for us by velovoyageur was very convenient, comfortable and the hotel staff friendly and helpful. The handbook and gps maps we received are excellent, really informative and helpful. Only hiccup was that the bike supplier forgot our booking and we had to wait the morning in Strasbourg for him to arrive with our bikes. Not a major disaster but an incovenience. He was very apologetic and velovoyageur were straight on to him when I rang them but in future I hope that they will double check the bookings shortly before to avoid such problems. If you decide to publish my opinion and want some photos then let me know

Beautiful trip on quiet side paths

    On the 2019-08-11 by Anders
The route was well laid out almost only on paved paths with no motorized traffic. The choice of hotels was nice - cozy local small hotels, with friendly service. Bikes and luggage transport also worked as it should.

    Lovely Spring Trip in Alsace

    On the 2019-04-23 by Horace
This was our first time doing a cycle tour like this and we had a great time. All of the communication and service from Le Velo Voyageur was very organized and thorough. We were a little nervous going in because so much was out of our hands (from hotels to bike pickup to luggage drop-off), but everything went off without a hitch! We met our luggage pickup on the first day at exactly the right spot and time, the bikes we picked up from a rental company were brand new and came with all the equipment we needed, and the directions and route were very well-made and easy to follow. The hotels they selected were all very charming and comfortable, and they seemed very familiar with the Velo Voyageur program, so that when we arrived they were expecting us, had places for us to leave the bikes, and had our luggage waiting. We also appreciated how carefully thought-out the route was. Most of our riding was on dedicated bike paths that were paved and well-maintained. So we rarely had to worry about dealing with car traffic. The route for Alsace went through a variety of lovely terrain, from small villages to vineyards to canal-side paths. There were a few steep climbs on our route that took some serious effort to get over, but mostly the riding was pretty flat and comfortable. We took a bit of a gamble going early season in April, and ended up having some wet and cold weather a few of the days. So definitely come prepared with rain gear and a variety of layers that you can adjust to the temperature. In many of the towns we visited, it was definitely clear that the tourist season still hadn't really gotten started -- many of the wineries and cafes were still closed, or very empty. We were more concerned with the cycling, so this didn't really matter for us, but if you do care about these things it might make more sense to go during a busier part of the season. Overall a great trip, and we hope to have the chance to do another in the future!

We were very pleased with the organization and the information we received for our self guided cycle through the vineyards and towns/villages of Alsace, the bikes are in very good condition and the luggage transportation was first class, we would use this company again for sure

    Bel itinéraire

    On the 2018-06-26 by Thérèse

    On the 2018-06-24 by YANDA

    On the 2017-10-22 by Léa
