Wonderful, safe bike path along the Saone River and through the vineyards leading back to Beaune. The hotels and towns were beautiful to visit. We found the navigation app to be fantastic.

We had a wonderful time and the service, from the time of booking to final delivery of our bikes at the end of the tour was excellent. The app is very good and helpful to know the plan for each day and the route as you go along. The accommodations and recommendations were super. Highly recommend Le Velo Voyageur as a high quality reasonably price tour operator.

We had a delightful biking trip with excellent organisation from Le Vélo Voyager. We had touring bikes and found the trip fine on very little training - although we usually do a bit of biking. The countryside was very pretty and the hotels were lovely, especially Villa Boucicaut in Chalon sur Saône. Highly recommended.

Fantastic trip. Very well organised. Friendly and helpful staff. Great hotels in handy biking locations. Perfect length of 4 days to catch up with family. Lots of long lunches and wine tastings along the way

We have now been on 6 trips with Le Vélo Voyageur & every one has been well organised. The hotels have been good, the routes have been interesting, the scenery has been wonderful and, with only one exception, the quality of the e-bikes has been great. We think that we get good value for our money. We have recommended Le Vélo to many people.

Le Velo Voyageur is the ideal mix of supported bike tour and independent exploration. The hotels were charming. The bikes worked well. The luggage transfer was flawless. The route was mostly on scenic bike paths without much traffic. I would consider any of their other tours in the future.

Thank you very much for this well organized and beautiful tour through burgundy. The bikes were fine and easy to ride. What we liked most was the route. It varied a lot. One day we biked alongside a river, the other day through vineyards the next day on an abandoned railway track. There were so many impressions. We soaked all of them up! We can definitely recommend this tour!

Great weather and cycle paths, hotels and restaurants. Very varied cultural trip: Niepce Museum of photography, specially in the 19th century; fantastic St Philibert that celebrates its Millenium in 2019; église Saint-Vincent financed by Napoleon at Macon; middle ages mythical Abbaye at Cluny, where we joined dinner at the hotel with bourgogne wines, and life music and poetry; barroque well kept Chateau Cormatin & gardens. Many of the times close to the beautiful Saône river.

Enjoyable trip through the bucolic landscape of Burgundy on delightful cycle paths and the odd quiet country road. Excellent way to enjoy the fine wines and culinary delights of this beautiful region of France.

We organised a short cycle trip for our family, in the Burgundy wine region. Everything went well. The bikes were very good, the hotels were nice, the route was well thought out, the trip info was complete and easy to follow. The new GPS App was very helpful. I would highly recommend this company. This is our second experience with them.

This was my first bike tour during a trip and I'm more than happy that I organized it with Velo Voyageur. The scenery was amazing and all the information provided was clear and useful, from the suggested route to the restaurant recommendation (trust these guys - we ate at some amazing gems in Chagny and Beaune!). The ride was pretty easy, and my wife and I had no trouble covering the distance. It starts longer in the 1st day (when you're at top energy) and is shorter in the 2nd and 3rd (when you are a bit more tired), which is quite nice. It's wonderful to ride a bit enjoying the river and vineyard scenery, stop to have a wine tasting, ride a bit more, stop for lunch and to visit a castle or church, ride a bit more - everything at your own pace and according to your interests. Luggage transportation worked flawlessly and our bags were always there waiting for us at the next hotel at the end of the day. I have absolutely no complaints and would thoroughly recommend this trip to anyone interested!

The tour took us through some wonderful countryside, but poor sleeping in a couple of poor hotels left us tired and unable to really enjoy it as much as we could have. The bikes were OK, but would be improved with mudguards, (it did rain), and an odometer to help make sense of the step by step instructions. The relocation of our bags went really well. We did have one puncture and were disappointed to find the it had the wrong size inner tube fitted and similarly one of the spare tubes was also too small; luckily, the other bike had the correct size. Overall, I was a little disappointed.

Our trip to Bourgogne was delightful. We crossed some amazing villages, cities , ridding along the Voie verte. Canal, chateaux, some of the best vineyards. Some of the villages, cities offered their markets with specialties of the regions, antique shows with their rare treasures. We were able to visit a chateau near Beaune, with a large collection of racing cars, old motorcycles and old planes with the good luck of meeting a very pleasant owner! Culture, beauties and delicious specialties were present everyday. Cycling is the only way. Merci Levelovoyageur

The secrets of Burgundy by bike in 7 days« Discover the beauty of rural France »
Thanks to your excellent organisation we had the opportunity to see so many beautiful parts of the Bourgogne. The path is never too exhausting, the daily distances let us enough time for sightseeing, having a coffee and a picnic. the hotels were quiet, but close to the center and the bikes were in a good shape. We can highly recommend this trip for families and everybody who wants to discover the beauty of rural France.
