Cycling holidays in the Landes are accessible to everyone, including children. Our itineraries from Bordeaux take you out of the city along the cycle path to Lacanau. Through the pines, you'll reach the Atlantic coast, where you'll follow part of the Vélodyssée route. You'll then cycle around the Arcachon Basin, where we suggest that rather than cycling around the whole area, you take a few loop rides to explore its most majestic sites: the Pyla Dune, the oyster-farming harbours of Gujan Mestras, the Teich ornithological park, Lake Cazaux and, of course, Cap-Ferret. Don't miss out on Arcachon's attractions, particularly its winter town and the seaside Pereire Park. Most of our cycle routes in the Gironde department are on bike paths, making them accessible to everyone.
