  • Itinerary
  • Brittany is a region full of surprises, and if you want to be amazed by the landscapes, the pink granite coast is certainly the right choice. This trip enables you to discover the region’s must-sees, while taking the time to appreciate and relax with two nights in Perros-Guirec and Paimpol.

Your itinerary starts as close as possible to the sea. From Lannion to Perros-Guirec, you follow the coast, with sometimes a few climbs to have a 360-degree view of the landscape that is offered to you. The different shades of blue will be enough for you to quickly forget the effort you have just made. From there, you will have two days to enjoy this pretty seaside resort that is Perros-Guirec and all that it has to offer: almost insular landscapes along the "Sentier des Douaniers", the calm of a walk along its miniature harbor, or the freshness of a swim on its white sandy beaches.

From the 4th day on, you will gradually go inland and continue to follow the signposted itinerary of the Vélomaritime. This one makes you cross localities, villages or even pieces of forests until you arrive at Tréguier, its alleys and houses with wooden panelling, then, until Paimpol where you will find the sea air of the beginning. Finally, you conclude your journey with an excursion to the Island of Bréhat, also known as the island of flowers. Be careful not to get lost in its streets which do not have a name...

    Day 1

    Lannion

Discover Lannion, capital of Trégor. Stroll through the hilly streets of this city and admire its typical wooden houses. Don’t panic, you will surely have the impression that they fall on you, but that’s what makes their charm! Finally, don’t miss the mythical stairs of Brélévenez, made up of 142 steps.

    Day 2

    Lannion - Perros-Guirec

    Altitude
    ±330m
    Bike
    36km
Ride along the coast towards Perros-Guirec, the seaside resort of the Côtes d’Amor. After cycling for a while, take the high ground at Trébeurden and admire all the shades of blue in the sea from the Pointe de Bihit.
On the way, don’t miss the opportunity to stretch your legs in the white sandy beaches: why not even take a dip in the water?!

    Day 3

    Perros-Guirec

Enjoy a free day in the beautiful seaside town of Perros-Guirec. You can decide to walk around and discover the city on foot.

Walk along the Sentier des Douaniers

This path, 8km long, links the port of Ploumanac’h to the beach of Trestaou in Perros. All along, you will walk along the granite rocks on which the waves of the sea break. A little advice: don’t hesitate to go there at the end of the afternoon, when the sun is setting, it’s almost like being on a tropical island.

Cruise on the Archipel of the 7 islands

Take the boat and discover the Archipel of the 7 islands, made up of a group of rocky islets. Classified as a Nature Reserve since 1976, you will have a breathtaking view of the Pink Granite Coast. Finally, if you like bird watching, this is the ideal place for it. Indeed, the archipelago shelters numerous species, which will be presented to you by the marine guides. This sea trip lasts about 1h45.

    Day 4

    Perros-Guirec - Tréguier

    Bike
    28km
You leave Perros-Guirec and ride along the sea for a few kilometers. Then pedal on small country roads and even enjoy the coolness of the forest at a certain moment.
You arrive in Tréguier, capital of Trégor, from the Passerelle Saint-François. On your bike, follow the narrow streets and half-timbered houses which give all the charm to this ancient city.

    Day 5

    Tréguier - Paimpol

    Bike
    22km
You continue your bike journey on the Vélomaritime, still criss-crossing the small country roads through the small villages of the Côte d’Armor. You will reach Paimpol and its seaport. You may be tempted by an ice cream on the terrace while admiring the boats, or rather a stroll in the city center.

    Day 6

    Day on Brehat Island

Before the last day, leave your bikes and put your shoes on to go on Brehat Island. Ten minutes of boat will be enough to arrive on this island full of history, where cars are not allowed. 3,5km long, Brehat offers you the possibility to walk and to swim in small creeks.
