Discover the beauty of Camargue from Arles to Avignon and its lively streets, passing through "Pont du Gard".

Ride along vineyards and reach Nîmes, a Roman city full of surprises. This route will lead you to Remoulins, a pretty village close to "Pont du Gard", the famous Roman bridge. You can enjoy a canoe ride on the Gard to discover the bridge, an unforgettable experience! The tour ends in Avignon, listed in the UNESCO world heritage.

Arrival in the city of Van Gogh. Enjoy a stroll through its narrow streets to discover the rich Roman and Romanesque heritage and settle into your accommodation during reception hours.

You can choose between two loops. The first loop will show you some bulls and horses inside the wild Camargue. The second loop,which is largest, will lead you inside the Camargue until you reach Vaccares pond. Enjoy the wild life of this area (33km).
The longest loop will leads you towards Vaccarès pond. You will observe a lot of different birds and animals there (44km).

This morning, you leave Arles and cycle on the small roads of Camargue until you reach the village of Saint Gilles and its olive grove. Ride through the vineyards and have a break to taste the famous wine of " Costières de Nimes". You will cross some small villages typical from this area but also some vineyards. At the end of the day, you arrive in Nimes, a beautiful city full of promises.

Let’s go to the "Pont du Gard" today! Take your bike and go out of the ancient city of Nîmes. You will pass through traditionals villages and cycle into the nature to reach the pretty village of Remoulins. Remoulins is the entrance of the "Pont du Gard" visit.
Take a walk into the small willage of Remoulins located very close to the famous "Pont du Gard". At your own pace, discover the most visited ancient monument of France, which aimed to deliver water from Uzès to Nîmes. You can ride to the bridge on your bike and coming down the river in canoes, a wonderful experience! You also can discover the brdige only by bike or visit the surroundings and beautiful villages such as Uzès.

Take the cyclable path and enjoy the green nature along the Rhone river. The ViaRhôna will lead you to Avignon, a city full of cultural treasures and beeing famous for its "Pont d’Avignon" and for its "Palais des Papes". Do not miss the visit!

By train: trains from Paris Gare de Lyon station (direct or with 1 channge) The duration of the trip is around 3h55.

If you’re coming by car, you can park for free in the P6 parking lot near the Arles SNCF train station, avenue Paulin Talabot, video protection, 200 spaces (subject to availability). You can find other paying parking lots on www.parkopedia.fr
