The lively and active capital of Brittany welcomes you. Stroll along the Ille and Vilaine rivers, discover this lively city whose architecture mixes styles and eras. Immerse yourself in the heart of Brittany by tasting galettes and crêpes on a sunny terrace.

You follow the quays to the Ille et Rance canal and continue your escapade by the towpaths. Don't miss the Maison du Canal, a museum that retraces the stages of its construction.
The locks, numerous and lively, will give rhythm to your bike ride.

Continue along the canal and towpath. Take time to explore the medieval town of Lehon with its splendid Royal Abbey.
In Dinan, don’t miss taking a look at the 43 meter high "Tour de l’Horloge" which consists of both a dungeon and a bell tower.

The greenway, a road reserved for bicycles, goes away from the canal to wind between fields and forests along an old railway.
You arrive in the heart of the seaside town of Dinard. Ride along the large villas overlooking the sea and walk on the beach among the small two-colored huts, which make the charm of Dinard before embarking for Saint-Malo.
You take a boat from Compagnie Corsaire with your bikes from Dinard to Saint-Malo. The crossing takes 10 minutes.

You will ride through the green countryside on small country roads to the Emerald Coast from where you will have a breathtaking view of the port of Cancale. If you are lucky, you may even see the bay of Mont-Saint-Michel.
Go down to the port of Cancale and taste its famous oysters. You then return to Saint-Malo by following the coast and stopping in the small creeks between the Pointe du Grouin and the corsair city.

As the first day is a non-biking day, you’ll arrive at your leisure, depending on your route. Please note that rooms are usually available by mid-afternoon, depending on your accommodation. Please let us know if you are arriving late.

By plane: flight to Rennes.

To reach back the starting point
There is a train between Saint-Malo and Rennes (several train per hour, duration: 1h). You can also depart directly in TGV from Saint-Malo.
