Gravel adventure in Catalonia around Girona
In the heart of Catalonia, inland from the Costa Brava, lies a world-famous wine region: Emporda. Departing from Girona, you gradually reach the Mediterranean Sea and follow the coast between sea and mountains.
Discover the small medieval villages, notably Castellò d'Empúries and Peralada in the north of Emporda and taste delicious fruity wines along the way.
You will discover a fairly dry valley and landscape with vines and olive trees which rise gently towards the foot of the Pyrenees. This cycling trip ends in Figueres, Dali's favorite city, known for its famous ramblas.
