Family cycling trip along the southern coasts of Sardinia
This cycling holiday lets you discover the splendors of southern Sardinia with your family. You begin your stay in the small village of Sant’Antioco, the starting point for traveling to the island of Carloforte by ferry. You discover its pretty fishing village and its beautiful Mediterranean beaches.
You then cycle between olive groves and vineyards towards Sant’Anna Arresi in the Plain of Sulcis. Cross salt marshes and spot pink flamingos along the way. Go on an adventure along the coast and enjoy a breathtaking panorama of beaches and lagoons with turquoise waters.
Obligatory swimming break in the most beautiful beaches of the island before arriving in Chia. After a short stop, finish your bike ride in Pula, a pretty, colorful town in southern Sardinia. You will enjoy strolling through its streets and will have a free day to visit the archaeological area of Pula on the coast. A visit rich in history retracing the history of this ancient Phoenician city.

Arrival in Sant’Antioco
Arrival in Sant’Antioco by private transfer from Cagliari. Stroll through this pretty village or enjoy your hotel.

The choice is yours. You can take the ferry to Carloforte, an island with turquoise waters and magnificent beaches (ferry tickets are at your own expense). You will return to Sant'Antioco at the end of the day. Alternatively, you can stay on the island of Sant'Antioco to enjoy your hotel or go on a bike ride to explore the island.
Sant’Antioco – The south coast

You can enjoy a peaceful drive through olive groves and vineyards in the Sulcis Plain. In Tratalias, you can visit the Pisan sanctuary, one of the most important monuments from the Roman period. Overnight stay in Sant'Anna Arresi or Teulada.
The south coast – Chia

Cycle along the Mediterranean coast and enjoy a superb panorama of the most beautiful beaches of Sardinia. On your route, imposing cliffs such as Cape Malfatano and Cape Spartivento will loom on the horizon. You finally arrive in Chia and can relax on the surrounding beaches.
Discovery day in Chia
Explore the famous beaches of Chia. By pedaling a few kilometers you reach the most beautiful beaches on the coast such as Cala Cipolla, Su Giudeu or Campana. You can also reach Santa Margherita from Sa Colonia beach by taking the old Roman road.

Day in Pula

Take your bike to reach the Nora archaeological area. Visit the ancient Phoenician-turned-Roman city. A visit not to be missed with breathtaking views of the sea and the coast. End your day in the central square of Pula, to taste its specialty: Mirto!
