This cycling trip takes you from Cabras to Pula all along the east and south coast of Sardinia. You discover the most beautiful beaches where the turquoise sea and the fine grains of quartz offer you a palette of colors ranging from white to green to turquoise with touches of pink.
You also have the wild landscapes of the "Costa Verde", but also the rich cultural and historical heritage with the salt mines of Sulcis, the Phoenician remains of Tharros and Nora or the Romanesque monastery of Tratalias.

Cabras – Arborea

Today you are going to explore the Sinis marshes and cross the colonies of pink flamingos. You walk along the fine quartz beaches, which range in a palette of colors from white to green to light pink to reach one of the most beautiful places on the island: the Phoenician ruins of Tharros. Then cross the historic medieval city center of Oristano to reach Arborea.

Explore the natural sites of the Costa Verde to Piscinas beach with its sand dunes more than 50 m high, among the highest in Europe.
Arbus – Nebida

The road takes you to the old mines of Sardinia. After this visit, discover a beach with golden sand called Portixeddu as well as the impressive cliff of the “sugar plane”. In Nebida, you can visit the old wash house.
Excursion on Carloforte Island or a free day on Sant’Antioco island

The choice is yours. You can take the ferry to Carloforte, an island with turquoise waters and magnificent beaches (ferry tickets are at your own expense). You will return to Sant'Antioco at the end of the day. Alternatively, you can stay on the island of Sant'Antioco to enjoy your hotel or go on a bike ride to explore the island.
Calasetta – Sant’Anna Arresi

You leave Calasetta and set off on an adventure across the Sant’Antioco plain, green in spring and golden in autumn. In Tratalias, you can visit the Pisan sanctuary, one of the most important monuments of the Romanesque era in Sardinia. Continue your journey, enjoying the country roads of the Plaine des Sulcis.
Sant’Anna Arresi – Pula

Cycle along the Mediterranean coast and enjoy a superb panorama of the most beautiful beaches of Sardinia. On your route, imposing cliffs such as Cape Malfatano and Cape Spartivento will loom on the horizon. Then pass through Chia and relax on its beaches with turquoise waters. Continue your route along the coast to reach Pula and finish the day's stage.
