What a fabulous way to see the French coast . Almost everyone we encountered were very friendly and they were a credit to your country . Tres bien !

It was a pleasant journey in a beautiful environment. It was relaxing to travel without luggage and finding your luggage in the hotel at the end of the trip. Hosts in the hotels were very friendly and cooperating. Hotelrooms were mostly very nice. To stay on Ile-le-Re two nights in one hotel was also pleasant. The guidance app Velo Voyageur did not work well.

The route was wonderful! We cycled along scenic bike paths and beautiful, small country roads along rivers and mountains to magical villages. This region's weather is similar to the Pacific Northwest, so be prepared for days with morning mist and gorgeous greenery.

Velo Voyageur did not disappoint. We had an active, fabulous holiday with their 4-day excursion from Bordeaux to Arcachon. Nicely paced, lots of flat riding, and some beautiful pine forests - well-appointed hotels, pools at nearly every destination to relax and recuperate - a dream holiday. We'd do it again! Thank you!

We really enjoyed the ride between Bordeaux and Archachon. The bikes were excellent, and the route was scenic and easy to navigate using the app. However, the luggage service was poor, and they need to get a new provider. Our luggage arrived late on two of the three hotels, and had to change our dinner plans as a result. Communication around this also left a lot to be desired.

This ride takes you through oyster and mussel farms, exquisite pine forests and unending sand beaches. The entire route is either flat or gently rolling and on bike paths, mostly the Velodysee and EuroVelo Route 1. We rode self - guided, and Velo Voyageur provided us with maps, an app, hotel accommodation and luggage transfer. It was seamless.

This was such a fun way to see the Basque countryside! The mountains, villages, and ocean views were all beautiful. Most of the trip was on bike paths or uncrowded roads. A few short sections were on busier roads, especially on the last day heading back toward Biarritz (I’m not a very experienced cyclist, and while I never felt unsafe in these sections, I definitely felt like I had to keep a sharp eye). The hotels were simple, but very friendly and welcoming. The e-bikes were in great shape. If you like adventure and are looking for something fun to do in Basque country, don’t hesitate to book this trip!

This is a great ride with mountain views and walks, sea swimming, many pretty villages and variety on route. We took regular touring bikes and carried our luggage. Climbing the hills inland was comfortable and rewarding, the up and down on the last coastal stretch was harder than we anticipated but not very long. The choice of hotels is perfect - very charming locations, rooms and staff. The breakfasts were delightful and the rural hotels do dinners for guests which are excellent quality and good value.

The bicycle trip from La Rochelle to Biarritz mainly follows the cycle path „La Velodyssee“ which goes along the coast with nice views on beaches, sea and dunes. We were riding through beautiful pine forrest and passed nice towns. Velo Voyageur provided all information and maps for that trip and even provided a GPS mobile app (including a holder for the handlebar) which was very useful especially when the path was not following the „La Velodyssee“. Everything was very well organized: the hotels were all fine without exception, the bicycles were in good shape, bicycle bags were provided, and the luggage transport worked out. We experienced Velo Voyageur as a reliable and trustful tour agency that supported us to proceed our trip when we had an incident and a transport for us (including our bicycles) had to be organized.

Our 3rd biking trip with Le Velo, and still satisfied. Always professional, very helpful when figuring out details of trip and itinerary before the trip- Choice of hotels generally very good, bikes and luggage transport so far always good- Staff very helpful when dealing with small emergencies during the trip- Only thing during this trip was that GPS app was not very performing, so we got lost a lot- The cities, islands and small towns on this route were all very beautiful, and interesting- Already thinking about our next biking trip with Le Velo Voyageur!

The trip was pretty, the accommodations comfortable but the bike was heavy, uncomfortable and lacked a bike trip meter. This was especially hard because I was carrying all my gear since I couldn't afford the luggage shuttle as I would be charged the price for two people.

Couldn't have been happier with the trip organized. The team were super responsive to all our questions, the itinerary and accommodation were great. We are very experienced cycle tourists and this is the first time we have left it up so someone else to organize everything - it won't be the last! Highly recommended for relaxed, interesting and stress free cycle touring.

Generally enjoyed a wonderful cycling holiday on a well signed route which was not particularly challenging with plenty of places to stop off for coffee/lunch. Bikes were spot on and trip well organised. Some hotels needs to be reconsidered - but the Domaine du Martinet at Bouin is an absolute gem.

Enjoyed the scenic small routes through beautifull landscapes and villages. Only few times on larger roads with heavy trafic. Well planned and described trip, with alerts and descriptive photos in the App securing we were on the right track. Glad we didn’t have to follow the printed maps (would have been difficult at times). Good quality bikes. We generally arrivd early at the destinations and had to wait for later check in, so bring a book or the like for the waiting time.

Gemütliche Velo Reise. Sehr ruhige Gegend. Wir haben viel Sonne gehabt und konnten unterwegs die lehre Strände genießen und Baden und den Duft der Pinien Wälder einatmen.

We were a group of five and thoroughly enjoyed this trip. The terrain is pretty flat so the cycling was very manageable despite hot weather. The area is lovely and there is a nice contrast between the Marais Poitevin and the Ile de Re. The organisation was very good and the bikes were good quality.
