  • From the heart of the Provence, the charming village of Séguret, classified among the "most beautiful villages in France", you ride through olive groves, vineyards and lavender fields to discover the emblematic villages of this little gem in Provence such as Sablet, Gigondas or Vaison-la-Romaine.
In Vaison-le-Romaine you will discover the very beautiful Gallo-Roman remains, which testify to the power of the region during Antiquity. You taste the powerful wines of Gigondas and Sablet at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail, these jagged rock formations that overlook the region.

A perfect escape between nature and culture at the heart of Provence!

Today’s round-trip leads you to Vaison-la-Romaine. You’ll bike by well-tended vineyards on quiet country paths. After pedaling up a small pass, you’re rewarded with great views of the valley below. You’ll soon reach the village of Saint-Roman-de-Mallegarde, a former outpost of the order of the Knights Templar. Continue riding along the Aygues River and then head to Vaison-la-Romaine. This city has a strong archeological history. You can see the remains of floors in mosaic, marble, marquetry. Marvel at the statues, ponds, atriums, and private thermal baths, all showing life in Roman times. After strolling through the medieval narrow streets, hop on your bike and return to your hotel in Seguret

Après les Dentelles de Montmirai, un peu de "plat"

    On the 2023-04-21 by Alain
